These are the 3 variations that I presented during the session on 28th.
With the feedback given, I did 2 more versions with the same concept of using light—one of an abandoned space and one of a door. +++ I also changed the strapline which was great because it sits better in the posters typographically~~~
I grew to really like the doors idea for what it represents—opening doors of opportunities.
I searched for the images randomly and had to photoshop them to create a similar colour scheme across all 3 variations. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be because unlike the images of the traffic lights (which was unplanned by the photographer but it just happened to turn out the way it did, with A+ editing skills), most images of lights do not have the ~natural~ glow/beam.
The first edit I did with the lights turned out quite awkward:
Also tried to do a landscape layout for each one:
After doing the ones on the left for each of the 3 variations, I did a second layout for the ones with the traffic lights because I like the layout (hahahahahahahahhahahaha) but it seemed slightly separated (it looks like 3 separate blocks) in the last one. I think it turned out ~quite nice~ because I really like the layout??? It doesn’t look as static as the first draft (which is the middle on the left, sorry no labels on photos).
That is all.
I will be working on the shirt, hopefully making it less gross/awkward/funny than the one which was deleted.
